I need to shake this recent funk and I'll get started with this early first pitch.

My complimentary winner is the Philadelphia Phillies on the run line against the Cincinnati Reds.

The Phils have dropped to 15-9 after losing the last two in this series to the Reds (13-10). After winning the series opener 7-0, the Phils have lost the last two by a combined final of 15-5.

Time to silence the bats.

Enter Zach Wheeler.

I know Wheeler is 1-3, but he also boasts a 2.30 ERA and rather small 0.89 WHIP. This is a good spot for him to shine, as the Reds' offense can't keep up like it has.

Wheeler will get the run support he needs, with Cincy turning to Nick Martinez, who is 0-0 with a 4.76 ERA and 1.24 WHIP.

Lay the run line with Philly.

1* PHILLIES RUN LINE

Toronto (-110) at KANSAS CITY

Who's ready for Baseball Winner # 11 of 12?

Swept the weekend by cashing with the Braves Run Line on Saturday and the Reds on Sunday.

I opened the week with my first-ever 100 Dime MLB release and nailed it with the Twins Run Line over Chicago. I hit my second-ever 100 Dime MLB release by nailing the Royals over Toronto. I hit my third-ever 100 Dime MLB release with the Twins Run Line (+115) over Chicago.

Short card in baseball, but I'm red hot and one of these mismatches has to be exposed. I'm raising the bar with the biggest release of the season, my fourth-ever 100 Dime MLB release, the biggest mismatch on the card.

My free play for Thursday afternoon is the Toronto Blue Jays on the road against the Kansas City Royals.

Kansas City has given us plenty to think about this season. The Royals opened the season with a winning surge, stumbling a bit, and coming into this series finale after winning two of three from the Jays.

Today will be an uphill climb, as the Jays hand the ball to José Berríos, who is 4-0 with a 0.85 ERA. And since the Royals haven't seen him yet, I think they're going to struggle the same way the Rays, Astros, Mariners, Rockies and Padres have. Not one of those teams have gotten him for more than two earned runs, and three have been seen scoreless performances.

He'll be much better than Royals starter Cole Ragans, who is 0-2 with a 4.32 ERA. He comes into this one after being shellacked by the Baltimore Orioles, who tagged him with seven runs on nine hits over just 1.2 innings of labor.

I'll be happy to take the Jays here.
