That was embarrassing! The Boston Celtics were a no-show last night in their bid to sweep the Dallas Mavericks.

To be honest, I shut the game off in disgust.

Terrible call. I am better than that, and I will prove it with tonight's 1500♦ winner on the diamond.

Friday afternoon's series opener between N.L. Central rivals St. Louis and Chicago saw the Redbirds blank the Cubbies, 3-0 in a a game that landed Under the total handily.

That series Under pushed this rivalry to 2-1 Under in this year's season series, and 6-3-1 Under the total over the last 10 series meetings between these division rivals.

St. Louis has made a killing for their Under totals players of late, as 5 in a row and 7 of their past 9 games played have landed in the Under column. The same can be said for Chicago's Under players, as each of the Cubs' last 7 games have all played Under the posted price.

Andre Pallante will make just his 4th season start. He was rocked for 6 runs in his 2nd start, but in his other 2 starts, he has allowed just 6 hits with no runs surrendered in 11 innings.

Shota Imanaga has pretty much been money all season long with a 6-1 mark and a 1.96 ERA. His ERA at Wrigley Field is 1.31, and his ERA during the day is 0.76.

I would say the Under trends are a little too strong to bypass today at the Friendly Confines.
